Another Cheap Painting

I made this painting just like the other Butterfly Painting in another post. It was super easy and it turned out wonderful. The only thing I did different was that I used some light gray paint and a clear sealer over the painting because these letters wanted to peel up.

Christmas Wreath

I got a plain wreath from Hobby Lobby and some red and white wreath decorations like candy canes and feathers. I made my "R" (which you can see how to do in another post) and I hot glued everything on. I only partially did it because I didn't want the feathers to overtake the pretty decorations. I love how it turned out!!

Rainbow Headphones

I saw this on Pinterest and I thought it would be a perfect gift for my little cousin. I got embroidery thread in Rainbow (Roy G Biv) colors and I used some good clear glue and a pair of headphones. I bundled the thread together and began to wrap it around the headphones starting at the ear buds and working my way down. I glued the ends and wrapped around to ensure a good hold. I wrapped down one side and then did the same down the other side and made the other side longer so that I could continue all the way down the headphones and then I glued the end down and let dry. They turned out pretty awesome. I'm thinking of doing a pair for me in some other colors.

Christmas Curtain

I saw this picture on Pinterest and I got an idea and flew with it. I got a dowel curtain rod that you can get anywhere, some silver garland, white thread or fishing line, and the extra Christmas tree balls I had left from decorating our tree. I tied the balls at different lengths with the thread on the dowel rod then I wrapped the rod with the silver garland. I got a pretty cool looking Christmas curtain.

Halloween Wreath

I put together a wreath for Halloween and it was very simple and quick. I used a wood wreath, orange, green, and purple feathers, 4 black roses, a black glittery spider, black spider web, and a few Halloween signs. You can get all this stuff at either Hobby Lobby or Walmart. I wrapped the spiderweb around the wreath and hot glued everything else into place. It turned out wonderful and made me decide to do a Christmas one which is almost done!

Easy Glitter Letters

I got this "R" from Hobby Lobby for a few bucks and I got some Red and White glitter and I used some Mod Podge and Clear Spray Paint to create the "R" for my Christmas Wreath that is still a work in progress and will be posted on here soon! I'm also going to post my Halloween Wreath on here as well.

Just Mod Podge the letter and sprinkle the glitter on and let dry for awhile and then shake off the extra glitter. Then add a coat of clear spray paint and the glitter won't fall off!!

Wall Decor for Cheap

I have been looking everywhere for some wall decor for my bedroom. I haven't found anything that just really catches my eye and if I do then it is super expensive. The wall stickers that have become so popular have caught my eye and they are not always cheap but I went to my local Hobby Lobby store and I caught them 50% off! So I paid about $10 for a butterfly wall sticker (if you know me then you know I have an obsession with butterflies and you probably know why). They are also having a special that I can only assume is for Christmas that is a 2 pack of painter's canvas for $7.99 and I used a 40% off one item coupon! I then grabbed some paint (which I caught 30% off) that would go with my decor in my bedroom and I decided to do a 2-tone blue fade paint. I used a sponge brush and started painting! After it was dry I applied the butterfly wall sticker and the masterpiece was complete! All in all this project cost me about $20, which is way cheaper then buying something I may or may not like, this is a custom art piece.
